Moving to Bali?
Well guys, looks like I have reached the right place to get some information.
I am looking at living in Bali, doing a Fly in Fly out system through the company I work for, how it works is I will be based in Bali and fly to Australian Mine Sites through the company I’ll be working for. 1 Week in Bali, 2 Weeks working in Australia.
As far as rent goes, I am looking for some Rental Sites for Bali Real Estate. Obviously I dont want to be staying in a Luxury Villa as they are going for at least 150 US a night, but am looking at renting for say 12 months and only want to spend say 10 grand – 20 grand AUS a Year.
Any this will be the first of many many more questions to come, and what do you guys think of the idea ? think it sounds pretty good, all flights will be paid for through the new company.

The idea is not new. Believe me, there are a lot of expats here in Bali doing just like you plan. Y!A is definitely a good start for informations.
Here is what I know. A bungalow in Legian, Kuta, with one bedroom, one bathroom, and open air kitchenette in front yard is around AUS 500/ month. A studio with same facilities with front and back yards in Kuta Beach is around AUS 600- 700/ month. And the coolest thing is that you can renovate/ re-decorate as you wish like in your apartment if you rent for 1 year or more.
Ask some of expats who have stayed. Or you can contact me. Or even better, you can rent one of our bungalows/ studios.
